Census reports in online sections

Hello, colleagues. We are having a lot of issues with generating census reports in our LMS for combined sections (OL1-OL2, for example). 

Currently, we have all our students complete an Enrollment Verification Assignment. We are using Open LMS . We generate an activity completion PDF, but the combined sections/groups stay combined on the report. We have asked faculty to highlight or strike through and submit separate reports. 

Would any of you be willing to share how online census reports for combined sections are handled where you are?

If the instructor sets up groups by section number, the instructor should be able to see the results of the EVA by those groups using the drop-down menu.  Once you see the results by "Groups" the results for that group can be downloaded as a PDF or Excel file.  The parent section number may come in as the title.
