Accessibility Bridge Community of Practice

Hello everyone, here’s the plan for the Spring 2022 semester:

We’d like to make the most of the collective knowledge of the group, and focus on sharing tips and solutions!  To that end, we’d like to start each session with a 15 minute demo of a solution, tool, capability, or anything else you think the group could benefit from.  If you’re interested in sharing, fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/3n2xgAfJ8n  

• February 16^th, time TBD:  Judith Risch, Attorney Advisor at the Office for Civil Rights with the U.S. Department of Education has agreed to speak with the group and answer questions.
• March 9^th, 9am :  Call for Volunteers!  We’d like 2-3 campuses to share their experiences in retrofitting a Math or Chemistry class to make it more accessible for students.  If you’re interested in sharing, reply to this email! 
• April 13^th, 9am:  Call for Volunteers!  We’d like 2-3 campuses share their experiences in making accommodations for in-class testing &/or proctoring.  If you’re interested in sharing, reply to this email! 
• May 11^th, 9am:  Reflections of the semester, planning for Fall 2023.
